Our law firm was established in 1986 by Dr. Hans-Jürgen Lappat and Dr. Reinhart Schütt and since then it has focused on providing legal advice in the fields of commercial law and tax law. After Prof. Dr. Michael Veltins joined the firm, we changed the name to LAPPAT SCHÜTT VELTINS. This legal form of the partnership was changed into a GmbH (LLC) at the end of 2007 and renamed to LSV Rechtsanwalts GmbH.
The increasing demand for tax consultancy and accounting led to the outsourcing of the regular tax consultancy to LSV Treuhand GmbH Tax Consulting Company in 1989 and to the concentration of accounting activities in LSV Revisions GmbH Accountancy Firm in 1992. LSV Rapido GmbH Tax Consulting Company, in existence since 1971, was acquired and integrated into the company group in 2004.
In close collaboration with our LSV accounting firm and the LSV tax consulting companies, LSV law firm can offer multidisciplinary advise to their clients on legal, tax and business management matters. Due to our membership in the network ADVOC, we have close working ties with about 100 law firms in 60 countries with currently about 6,000 colleagues.
